9:00 a.m. every Sunday, September 14, 2008 – May 2009

One of the Christian Education Committee’s primary roles is to oversee the Sunday School Program. Rally Day kicks off the Sunday School year on the Sunday after Labor Day. Teacher Appreciation/Attendance Recognition Sunday is held the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend, with Sunday School ending the week prior.

Our Teachers
Our teachers are trained volunteers who are required to have Act 33 and 34 clearances are on file. All positions follow a job description. Teachers work as “teams” and often alternate weeks or months to provide them the opportunity to take advantage of adult classes offered during the Sunday School hour.

Sunday School Offering
The Sunday School provides offering envelopes to all children. Students are encouraged to give faithfully in order to develop the habit of giving regular gifts back to the Lord in order to promote good stewards later in life. Special offerings are held throughout the Sunday School year.
