Christian Education | Together In Faith
Connecting families around the basics of faith: Bible, prayer, worship.
The Together in Faith program, developed by Pastor Mindy Bak of the Youth and Family Institute of Augsburg College, draws parents and children together in faith. Our Kindergarten through 5th grade students take a break from their regular class sessions during the Sunday School hour to attend two or three sessions with their parents to experience Bible stories, games, theme-related activities, and parent-child conversations.
Goals for parents:
- Sharing their faith and learning with their children in a church setting;
- Learn new ways to nurture faith at home;
- Grow in conviction and confidence, and enhance their role as primary faith teachers for their children.
Goals for children:
- Share their faith and learn with their parents;
- Grow in their understanding of the Bible, prayer and worship;
- Seek out times for faith activities at home.
